MISSION

The Mission of Millpool Hill Church which is our driving purpose and long term focus is:

“TO LOVE GOD, PREACH THE GOSPEL AND MAKE DISCIPLES”

THE GREAT COMMANDMENT

We believe that Jesus clearly commanded us to Love God and others

Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.  A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

When we love God we worship Him, we surrender our lives to Him, we want to spend time in His Word and in prayer, we want to serve Him and give to Him – And when we truly love God, we should also love others!

THE GREAT COMMISSION

We believe that Jesus clearly commissioned the church to preach the Gospel, baptise those that believe and make Disciples

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.  Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

At Millpool Hill Church we are focused on sharing the Good News of Jesus in all that we do. We are also committed to encouraging every member to GROW as a Disciple of Christ
