PRAYER

PRAYER

Prayer is sometimes seen as a mysterious exercise by those who are spiritually minded, however it’s a simple and effective way to communicate with God. We pray because it’s an appointed way for us to give our thanks and praise to God and it’s how we can ask for His divine help. Through prayer we can ‘download’ amazing blessings from Heaven.
  • Philippians 4:6-7 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
At Millpool Hill Church we believe that the Bible encourages us to regularly pray for others, and not only those in our church, but also those in our community. As we pray for those who need God’s help, we have seen God work in wonderful ways, such as healing people, opening up new doors of opportunity, providing needs and positively transforming lives.
  • James 5:13-15 Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins you will be forgiven.
Would you like us to pray for you? Do you need God’s help, or healing in your life? If so please email us your prayer request and we will be happy to pray for you. Simply state if you would like us to pray for you (or somebody else) and what you would like God to do for you (or somebody else).
Please email your prayer requests to info@millpoolhill.com
