Students and Young Adults

At Millpool Hill Church, we love to welcome students and young adults!

Being a student can be a challenge as you negotiate the rigours of academic learning and transitioning to the responsibilities of adulthood, as well as possibly living away from home for the first time. As a local Church we have young people who have recently graduated and others who are entering the ‘student season’ of their lives.

One of our members, Chloe, has recently graduated, and whilst at university gave support and mentoring to other students and also attended the campus Christian Union, running a Bible study group through the CU. Chloe knows first-hand the daily pressures of student life and has experienced that her faith in God supported her at university through situations from day-to-day challenges, to settling in to a new city, to those dreaded essay submission deadlines!

Our Church leader, Richard, is a graduate of Bangor University and has an MA in Missional leadership, so he is also fully aware of the pressure of reading piles of books and having to submit robust pieces of academic work.

Both Chloe and Richard, along with the members of Millpool Hill Church, want to assure you that our Church is student and young adult friendly and that we are here ready to listen to you, support you as much as we can and to provide a Church base where you can be part of the Christian family.

Feel free to visit us at Millpool on any Sunday morning at 10:30am, and when you arrive ask our welcome team to introduce you to Chloe or Richard – we look forward to seeing you soon.
